Anyone going to a fancy dress party this summer? This might be what you want to wear then. Love the bright orange and I actually got those sandals in the sales last week (and that was the ONLY thing I bought in the sales/have bought in the last 2 months... boo!).

THE LONG & SHORT OF IT

Motorcycle jackets - the spring/summer edition. It's got the shape & toughness of a regular biker jacket, yet the beige colour makes it perfect for spring. Get a short linen one like the perfect Heimstone Perfecto Russel, OR go for the suede Smith model by ACNE(this has become one of their signature models).




To top it off, a sweet lace number to go with the girly Heimstone jacket and a slightly more edgy dress for the Acne one. Aaand... we're all set!

THE SHORT SUIT

I've been tempted for a few months now, but I'm still not sure what to think of this: The short suit (=suit, but with shorts).
Ever since I first saw the images of this one by Acne a couple of months ago, I felt like this could actually work.
It's casual AND dressy at the same time, good for those occasions where you don't want to overdress yet you wouldn't want to show up in your jeans when everyone's wearing a cocktail dress either, right?



ASOS does a nice (& cheaper!) version of the Acne one... Not bad, not bad at all!



But then....! Let's take it up a notch.
What if we take this idea of a short suit, but do it with a print? Not so casual friday after all eh? Right.
Is print just tooo much for this? Is it one of those situations where you can wear one of these items, just not the 2 of them together? Topshop doesn't seem to think so... They made this great flower-printed number. It almost looks like a playsuit! (and yes I know, I know, that's not actually a jacket therefore not really a 'suit', but stay with me on this one)



I also came across this wonderful printed one by Belgian designer Cathy Pill (known for her incredible prints)...




What to think of it? Well, to be honest: I DON'T KNOW!
So, get on with the opinions! Yay or nay? Prints or "You weren't seriously considering wearing a printed short suit, were you?" Any favourites too?

An outfit with a very simple colour palette today: Black, white & navy.
My mom wouldn't approve of me wearing black & navy together, but well, I think they go together rather well - any opinions?

WHITE

I feel like wearing a lot of white this summer...
I don't usually wear white, but it just looks so fresh & clean (not to mention it keeps out the heat - ever worn black on a hot summer day?!)
That being said, these dresses from ACNE are pretty high on my wishlist. Now all you need is a nice white blazer to top it all off.

ACNE

Are you all familiar with the swedish brand Acne? I've heard people laugh about the name 'Acne' before, but it's actually an abbreviation for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions, so keep that in mind ;)! OK, here are a few of my favourites from the new collection:
