THE ANSWERS

So here is the first part of the Q&A (I'm doing it in 2 parts since the post would become too long!). Thanks for everyone who sent in questions, I hope you'll enjoy my answers!

1. Paris or London?
Ooh definitely Paris! I love the city, the streets, the parks, just everything! Also, if I had to compare the Parisian way of dressing and the London style, I think Paris is closer to my personal style/taste. But on the other hand, I’ve only been to London once, so I may need to visit London again to be sure ;)!

2.What’s your favourite ice cream flavour?
Tough choice! When I was little I was really into banana ice cream, but it’s been ages since I last ate some. But I REALLY like speculaas-ice cream. I don't know if most of you know what Speculaas is, since it’s a typical Belgian/Dutch cookie I think (yeah, it’s a cookie!)If you ever visit Belgium (or Holland, you choose) get yourself some speculaas, you’ll enjoy it, I promise.

3. If you had to dress in 1 designer, for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
Wow I get to wear designer clothes for the rest of my life? Sweet! Tough call between Lanvin and Proenza Schouler though. Lanvin is just amazingly gorgeous, time and time again. Remember the resort collection? Or the autumn/winter 09/10 collection? Just wow. But if I had to wear it all day, every day, I think maybe Proenza Schouler would be a better fit. I still can’t get over that prefall collection, SERIOUSLY. I think Jack & Lazaro are geniuses.

4.Victoria's Secret or Agent Provocateur?
I always wear basic lingerie, mainly because I choose comfort over prettiness. COS being my favourite as of late (will have to do a post on COS soon, it’s actually one of my favourite brands and I don’t think I’ve ever done a post on it! ). So I’m afraid Agent Provocateur isn’t really my cup of tea. Victoria’s Secret it is then! But lately I’ve been really into the American Apparel lace bras & panties though…

5.What's your favourite thing to do when you're not blogging?
I listen to music a lot, I LOVE watching movies (old & new ones), reading magazines (mostly fashion magazines but I love National Geographic too, seriously, their stories are amazing and don’t get me started on their amazing photography!). Oh and cooking (dessert being my specialty haha!).

6. tell us about your most favourite piece of clothing at the moment:
Lately I’ve been living in my Sandro shorts I told you about a while ago, but in a few days I’m leaving for a trip to Italy and I can’t wait to take these two dresses with me!

7. Do you believe in aliens/extraterrestrial life?
As in little green people that land on our planet with UFO’s? No… But they did find water (well, ice actually) on Mars so I wonder if there was ever life on Mars, since life on Earth started in water too…

8. If you could only wear one piece of clothing, for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hmm that’s a good question! Just last week I came across this project by Indian born designer Sheena Matheiken, the uniform project, where she will be wearing the same dress for an entire year and create a different look each day. Pretty amazing if you ask me. If I could only wear one piece of clothing, it would definitely be a dress, very simple and elegant in a neutral colour (black, white or navy), probably similar to Sheena’s!

9. If there was a fire at your home, what would you save first (assuming any family members/friends/pets are already all safe)?
I’d hate to see all my pictures go since they can’t be replaced. So I’d probably run and get all the photo albums I can carry, they have some great childhood memories in them (even my dad has a photo album with pictures in them from when he was little, so great). And I hate to admit it but I’d probably try and take my laptop with me too, there are just too many things on it that I really really need and can’t be replaced either (all the pictures I have from the last couple of years and documents for school…)

10. Who are your favourite designers?
I have a lot of favourites, some of them (in random order): Nicolas Ghesquière (Balenciaga), Dries Van Noten, Olivier Theyskens (Rochas + Nina Ricci), Alber Elbaz (Lanvin), Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel + Fendi), Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez (Proenza Schouler), Phoebe Philo (Chloé back in the day and more recently Céline), Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane, Martin Margiela, Riccardo Tisci (Givenchy), Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs, Luella Bartley, Consuelo Castiglioni (Marni), Miuccia Prada (Miu Miu + Prada), Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren (Viktor & Rolf), Andreas Melbostad (Phi) and Stefano Pilati (Yves Saint Laurent).

I'll try and get part II up by tomorrow!
Pictures throughout are from the september issue of Vogue Germany, model is Toni Garrn!

Leuke post, leuk om te lezen!

Ik kende de tassen van Oonagh O'Hagen btw helemaal niet, dus ik had het even opgezocht. Ze zijn iets anders maar ze zijn ook erg leuk!
