OUTFIT #3: BEACH OUTFIT

The third and final outfit in my series of 3: BEACH OUTFIT!

So you're on spring/easter holidays or whatever it is they call it in your country and you're ready to go to the beach. The last time you were here was during those last summery days of 2010. You're desperate to show some skin, because maybe you need to get rid of your paler-than-milk complexion you carefully built up during the winter period (don't forget to wear sunscreen!!!) or maybe you just like the feeling of the rays of sun hitting your skin and you want to enjoy it as much as you can. So you wear a short skirt with a matching bikini top, because you can. A pair of cute sunglasses to protect your eyes, a fan you use during the hottest hours of the day, a bag in durable plastic (easy to clean off all the sand you've gathered during the day) and some flats to finish of the look. This morning you hesitated to put some regular espadrilles on instead, but these flats were nicer and you felt like wearing something special.

Fan - JCDC
Skirt & Bikini top - Rachel Antonoff
Sunglasses - Alexander Wang for Linda Farrow
Shoes - Charles Philip Shangai
Bag - Jil Sander

MFW - ALL IN ONE POST

Are you sick of these all-in-one posts yet? Well I hope not, because after this one the final post (PARIS) is coming up rather soon! Same principle as last time: I give you an overload of pictures, you read and scroll. Ready, set, go!

1// ALBINO

I love the clean cuts. Simple? Yes. Boring? Definitely not.

2// D&G

I'm usually not raving about D&G (I like their work, it's just not really 'me') but I have to admit these knits are pretty sweet.

3// FENDI

Wait, is this REALLY Fendi? I like it, really, but does anyone else think this is very different from other Fendi seasons? (oh and yes, I am in love with the first look.)

4// JIL SANDER

I was expecting a bit more from Raf Simons ( he designs Jil Sander). It wasn't that bad, but to me it just felt like there was something missing, a little extra?

5// MARNI

I thought this wasn't the best Marni season, but still, if you like Marni you'll probably like this collection too...

6// No. 21

You may or may not know this, but Alessandro Dell'Acqua recently lost the rights to his name (yes, I'm serious!) so he started a new label! He's called it No. 21 after his lucky number and it's looking rather good, right?

7// POLLINI

Next, Jonathan Saunders again. He's been at Pollini for a while now and I think he's starting to get the hang of it.

8// VERSUS

And last but not least, Christopher Kane for Versus. I think Donatella Versace made the right choice by appointing him as the new Versus designer. I think Versace & Versus customers are going to love this collection.
