So this is a post particularly directed to my fellow Belgians, but of course, you're all welcome to join in (or visit!) any time.

All right, so there's a really cool travelling exhibition/pop-up shop you'll be able to visit from 1st - 5th september in Brussels. It's called 'Bergen, a pop-up book' (you know, as in Bergen, Norway). It's built around 4 designers (all hailing from Bergen, hence the name!) and 1 perfume, supported by the Norwegian Fashion Institute and curated by the designers themselves.

The designers have chosen to showcase their work in this exhibition rather than a regular runway show, since their work is more conceptual and it just feels more natural to do this sort of thing - and rightfully so!

The participating designers are (be sure to click the link if you want to find out more about them!: Norwegian Rain,T Michael,Hansen,dMajuscule & DoubleYou Perfume.

This should give you all the info you need.

As I said, this is an exhibition as well as a pop-up shop, so you'll be able to score some of the designers' past & present work. The exhibition is travelling as well (Brussels is only their 3rd stop), so if you can't make it to this one in time, let's hope it'll come visit a city near you soon :)!

And if you're STILL debating wether or not you should go, some of the best stores in Brussels are right around the corner (all around rue Antoine Dansaert & especially Hunting and Collecting in rue des Chartreux!)so make sure you pop in for a quick visit while you're there (you won't regret it, your wallet just might haha).

Hier wil ik heel graag naartoe gaan, maar helaas geraak ik vanavond niet in Bxl voor de receptie. Ga vast en zeker wel proberen om één van de andere dagen een kijkje te gaan nemen, ziet er interessant uit!

Oh this is so cool! I wish I could go, but, unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to make it to Europe, haha. Love your blog by the way. You have some really lovely images!
