YSTERIKE

All right, I'm back with something new: Ysterike!
After designer Sarah Lespagnol graduated from Esmod in Roubaix, spent half a year at the style department at La Redoute, another 6 months working for designer Valérie Barkowski in India and finally a year in Italy, she decided it was about time she created her own brand, Ysterike. (thanks for introducing me to her, Thibaut!)

The first thing I noticed about this collection (spring/summer '11) was how girly, flirtatious, colourful and fun it was. Seriously, THIS is what french style is all about. It's not a coincidence some of my favourite brands (and by that I mean the ones I actually wear + am able to afford) are french, just like Ysterike.
The Ysterike girl: a 20-35 year old fun, ambitious, independent, artistic and charming woman - Take a look at the collection and see for yourself...

For now the collection is only available at various shops in France (Lille, Paris, Toulouse, Porto Vecchio & Aix en Provence) and Belgium (Brussels & Antwerp), but for those of you who don't live anywhere near here, fear not, because plans for an e-commerce are in the making, so keep an eye out for it! OMG! these are gorgeous. I'm in love with the blue top with the black florals at the top (4th photo).

Do you know when they will ship to Australia? What other French labels do you like? :)
