MOVIE NIGHT

Some of you might know I'm a big movie fan -if you didn't, well now you know! Unfortunately I haven't really featured this on my blog. Well that's about to change.
Watching a movie can relax you like nothing else can (ok maybe a good book can too). I do watch everything I can get my hands on, be it a comedy, a romantic movie, documentaries, or weird movies like this one, Koyaanisqatsi (1982). I'm really curious, who has seen or heard of this movie? It's pretty old, older than me, but still... It's the first part of the Qatsi trilogy, after this one there's Powaqqatsi (1988) & Naqoyqatsi (2002), all directed by Godfrey Reggio.

The movie consists of slow motion and time-lapse photography of cities and natural landscapes across the United States, not a word is spoken. Oh I can hear some of you think 'Ugh... What kind of a movie is that?' and I understand, I don't expect everyone to appreciate a 'movie' like this. There's no real storyline, there are no characters, just moving images but somehow it kept me hypnotised and I didn't feel bored once. I hope some of you will be curious enough to watch it. And for those who aren't convinced yet, watch the entire movie at superspeed here.
