KARLA

I've been following Karla Spetic since her very first collection and she keeps surprising me every time I see pictures of her latest collection popping up. This time (this is her AW 12 collection), she put together a lovely colour palette of her usual pastels (peach, light blue, cream) together with bright yellow & red - added bonuses are the leopard print and Roy Lichtenstein reproductions!
I'm loving the flowy organza skirts as well. They're not that wearable (unless you don't mind walking around showing off your granny pants), but fantastic nonetheless.

I'M GETTING MY MAJE ON FOR FALL

So Yes Please Mademoiselle is all about things that make you go 'YES PLEASE!' (in other words: oooh, I want that!) but I do know I post a lot of things on here that the average person (including me) can't afford. Still, there's more than just designer things that can make my heart beat faster.
So what do I actually buy in real life? Easy: Zara, H&M, ASOS, Urban Outfitters and a little Topshop as well. But, I do believe sometimes you have to invest in some great basic pieces that cost a little more, but you know will last.
My go to brands for those things are COS (best price/quality brand EVER), Maje & Sandro. Maje & Sandro are Parisian brands designed by sisters (they also do another brand together: Claudie Pierlot, which is very cute as well).

Maje is actually what I want my wardrobe to be like. Cute dresses, great jackets, tough/sweet pieces,... Their new Fall 2011 collection is seriously awesome and I'm not lying when I say to you I want EVERYTHING. I am so getting one of those jackets (remember, investment pieces!) and I'm buying the rest on sale. Or my mom is, she just doesn't know it yet.

ELEVEN

I don't know why but I somehow never got around to talking about Eleven Paris on here, the brand's been on my radar for a while now. Their lookbook is pretty nice, simple yet definitely not boring - exactly what a lookbook should be like. The french brand has a lovely collection for both men & women, it's a bit androgynous (I'm sure that's why they picked super-androgynous male model Andrej Pejic), consists of mostly neutral colours (think black/white/grey) and yes, they also have a series of great graphic tees (you can never have enough of those, right?).
