ACE

I realise this may be a little bit of a strange blogpost since it's about a hotel -yes- but read on and you'll understand.
I recently came across images from the ACE hotel in NYC and all I can say is: someone PLEASE take me there!
There are 4 ACE Hotels, there's one in Portland, Seattle, Palm Springs & New York. The interior design is different in every city, all of them are equally amazing, but it was the one in NYC that caught my eye the most.
The rooms look a bit industrial, white walls with some black accents, great furniture (custom or vintage?) and some of the rooms even have exclusive art on the walls! Be sure to check out the video at the end of this post to see one of the artists working his magic on the walls.
And if that wasn't enough, you know what's just downstairs? Gee I don't know... Maybe Opening Ceremony's second store in NYC? I.AM.SERIOUS.
Can I live there?

And these are pictures from the loft - yes, you can even rent a loft! This looks like my dream appartment.

All pictures from ACEhotel.com

Finally, here's Mac Huelster painting the wall in room 1214!

I totally understand why you posted this! Love the rooms -almost to good to be true -if I booked a couple of nights I think I'd have security having to ply my hands from the room door. I wouldn't want to leave!! Great post

Dat ziet er inderdaad prachtig uit! Niet alleen de combinatie van oud en nieuw maar ook de muurschilderingen en offcourse de winkel die ernaast zit haha.

Looks like a really rad, chill place! Love the unique art work- and I think there was a chalk board above the bed in one of the photos? Super cool! xo, mel

There is an ace hotel in Portland where I live, it's connected to one of the best coffee shops in PDX that I frequent often. It's funny because I didn't know it was connected to the ACE until I found a photo from one of the rooms, tracked it down, and realized it was right there and I'd been there a million times. I would love to stay there some day, though it doesn't make much sense since I live here. Maybe if I should ever visit NY.
