DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER

These books aren't for reading though. Olympia Le-Tan makes these amazing minaudières (or clutches) based on first edition book covers. The collection consists of 21 different covers, all handmade and limited to 16 pieces. The base is canvas, covered with felt appliqué & embroidery. And on the inside? A nice surprise: Liberty print.

My personal favourite? The special edition for Purple Magazine, Johnny Purple.

Get them while you can at Colette (the special edition for purple magazine is available through their website) but beware, they don't come cheap.

Happy sweet wednesday to you and thanks for leaving your lovely comment.
I tried the belt also with the unbuckled (6-7 buckles), I was also fine but I somehow like it more with all buckles closed; I think it´s not so eyecatching ;)

But when it comes to eyecatching ... how fabulous are these "book covers". My fav is the right one in the first line!

Have a beautiful day!
