DAZED & AMAZED

I don't really have a lot to say about this editorial 'The Amsterdam Chainsaw Massacre' (haha how appropriate...), just this: wow. These Viktor & Rolf dresses looked amazing on the runway but I was really waiting for someone to make a mindblowing editorial with them. Well done Dazed & Confused, well done.

i like how they put these clothes in front of a very plain background, like they took it in the back of their office or something. i could easily imagine the clothes get horribly lost in some disgusting theatrical setting!

i like the quality of the photos very much, but the dresses do the work - it has not so much to do with the styling... if you know what i mean.

the dresses speak for themselves!
i don't really like the model, though.

this looks beautiful, i agree with the first comment, it would be a shame for the dresses to be overwhelmed by the scenery.
i wish they'd used a different model though- i'd have liked to have seen a more adrogynous model showing the dresses so it would be a contrast between the fairytale dresses.

I blogged about this V&R collection as well. I am absolutely amazed at how they oddly cut those dresses the way they did...just when you think something cant be done, some creative designers prove you wrong...
