THE ANSWERS PT. II

OK here's part II of the Q&A - long overdue, I know!
The pictures featured are by Heather Maxwell-Hall, found them via BOOOOOOOM!

11. What type of medicine would you like to practice (hope I remembered this correctly, and that you're studying medicine? If not, I apologise :))
Yes you remembered correctly! I honestly don’t know yet, I’ve done my second year now and I’m starting with my 3rd year in 3 weeks. I still have a few years to go until I have to choose what type of medicine I want to do, but it will probably be something that involves me actually DOING something, operations or other procedures… But I’m still waiting until my 6th year where I’ll be doing a lot of internships and actually see what every type of medicine is about.

12. Who do you have most respect for and why?
Well I have respect for everyone who has respect for other people, really. I have respect for my parents for bringing me up the way they did, respect for people who want something in their life and pursue it, and I can go on and on! I can’t stand people who don’t have respect for other people, I seriously absolutely can’t. When someone’s rude to me for no apparent reason, I always respond extra-friendly and polite, just so that maybe I could make them feel guilty for doing so. My last name, translated from dutch, is actually “The Friend” so maybe that may have something to do with that haha!

13. Who/what/where has caught your imagination in the last week and will not let it go?
Aah movies always make me dream! The last movies I saw (though not all in the past week!) that really caught my eye were: Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress (2002), Flower Drum Song (1961) and The Young Victoria (2009).

14. can't you tell us more about what you do? are you studying/working?
I’m a full time med-student, but at the moment, I still have my summer break!!

15. do you have a favourite city?
Well I really do love Paris, and I’ll definitely visit New York again ( if I can). But there are a lot of cities I’d love to visit one day. Just to name a few: Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Melbourne, Mumbai or New Delhi, Lhasa , Cape Town and really, I can go on for ever!

16. what is your ULTIMATE passion?
I would say fashion but it isn’t my ONLY passion! My other passions include music (love going to concerts & festivals), I love movies & a good book and I love cooking too!

17. Which blogger(s) would you most like to meet and why?
I’d love to meet all of you, seriously! Wouldn’t that be fun? But some of my favourite blogs (& bloggers!) include: The lovely missBrigadeiro,Miriam from Björn Borg,Raez fromCheap Thrills,Laura from A daisy chain dream,Susanna-Cole from Girl meets NYC,Heleen from Heleen DB,Kenza from La revue de Kenza,Lisa from Leeselooks & Katlin from URPLE. But these are just a few of all you special ladies out there!

18. what are your favourites shoes?
Hmm, I don’t own THAT many shoes, but I wear a lot of ballerina flats! I have a blue patent pair from COSthat I’ve been wearing NON-STOP!

19. what is your favorite line from a film or book?
“I saved Latin. What did you ever do?” Haha, ok that’s from the movie Rushmore by Wes Anderson. I guess you’ll all have to go watch the movie now! His movies are pretty hilarious at times haha :) By the way, he’s one of my favourite directors, check out ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ and ‘The Darjeeling limited’ too!

20. How important has blogging become for you over the past year? Do you consider yourself a "blogger" or just a person who has a blog, because there is a difference I think.
I don’t really consider myself as a blogger, more like a person who has a blog, because this is just something I do in my spare time. I’m a full time student in something that doesn’t relate to fashion at ALL, so this is kind of my hobby. It’ll never be something more than a hobby, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it! :D

Oh I know that movie "Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress" . Watched it some months ago and feel in love with the landscapes and characters.

Also: Thanks for answering my question. I feel the same about blogging. :)
