Another Resort collection today, Madeleine Vionnet! Yes, she's back! Well not Madeleine herself of course. After Sophia Kokosalaki and Marc Audibet, Matteo Marzotto was asked to come and design the line (he used to work at Miuccia Prada!). If you don't know Madeleine Vionnet, well, she was the one who introduced Bias-cut and Grecian style dresses into the fashion world (she was called the "Queen of the bias cut" and "the architect among dressmakers"). Read her Wiki page if you've never heard of her. And yes that is an order! ^-^
OK, the collection itself isn't bad at all, Audibet played it safe, he clearly got his inspiration from the original Vionnet dresses, lots of Grecian style dresses, but I liked it. That red dress on the third row is something I'd like to wear, yes please! Oh and all the gold cuffs really do complement the dresses!

And I'm going to repeat this untill someone hits me with a stick, but there is still time to enter the Current/Elliott giveaway! Hooray!

Wow! I think I might really want the entire collection! Haha. Its amazing. Each and every piece stands out, and you can see how the trademarks of Madeleine herself have been incorporated into these. They're beautiful! I love draping like this. It has that wonderful grecian feel.
Wow, just wow. (:

Spectacular, very glamorous! What photo-editor do you use to create your photo collages?
@ Devin B: photoshop forever! but there's really not much editing to it, mostly just copy-paste =)
